2. Which personal data do we process?
When you use the contact form, we process the information you enter and the technical information needed to deliver and secure the message. This may include:
- your name and email address;
- your company name and telephone number, when you choose to provide them;
- the content of your message;
- the selected language and technical delivery information.
Please do not include medical information, criminal data or other sensitive personal data in the free-text field unless this is strictly necessary and has been agreed with us in advance.
3. Why and on what basis do we process this data?
We use contact details to answer your enquiry, assess whether and how BronCode.Dev can help, take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, protect the form against misuse and maintain necessary business correspondence. Depending on the enquiry, processing is based on steps requested before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and securing our services, or a legal obligation.
The required checkbox confirms that you agree to the processing described here. It is not consent to receive marketing and does not limit your statutory privacy rights.
4. Which information is required?
Your name, email address, message and privacy confirmation are required so that we can receive and handle your enquiry. Company name and telephone number are optional. Without the required information, the form cannot be submitted.
5. Service providers and international processing
We use carefully selected hosting and transactional email service providers that process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements. Some providers or their subprocessors may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information about the relevant safeguards is available on request.
6. How long do we retain your data?
Our transactional email service provider retains message content and delivery metadata for no more than 45 days.
If an enquiry does not lead to an agreement, we retain the received correspondence in our mailbox for no more than 12 months after the last substantive contact. If an agreement or customer relationship arises, relevant correspondence may become part of the customer administration and is retained only for as long as necessary for the agreement, legitimate business records and applicable legal obligations. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
7. How do we protect your data?
We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted transmission, server-side validation, restricted access, server-only mail credentials and measures against automated misuse. No method of storage or transmission can eliminate every risk.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict processing, object to processing or provide your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
9. Personal data breaches
If a personal data breach occurs, we investigate it, take measures to limit its effects and document the incident. We notify the competent supervisory authority and affected people when this is required by law.
10. Changes
We may update this statement when our processing or legal obligations change. The publication date above shows the current version.
